Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Junior Couture Trading L.L.C (“Junior Couture”, “we”) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or shop on our websites (juniorcouture.ae, juniorcouture.com, juniorcouture.qa and juniorcouture.co.uk) or our app, or contact us (together, the “Site”).

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
  • “Log files” track actions on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
  • “Web beacons”, “tags” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

When you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, delivery address, payment information, email address and phone number. We refer to this as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.

How we use your personal information

We use the Order Information we collect to fulfil the orders placed through the Site, including processing your payment, arranging delivery and returns, and sending you invoices and order confirmations. We also use it to:

  • communicate with you;
  • screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, send you information or advertising about our products and services.

We use Device Information to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve the Site: for example, by analysing how our customers browse and interact with the Site, showing our adverts to people who have visited it, and measuring the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns.

Sharing your personal information

We share your Personal Information with service providers who help us run the Site and fulfil your orders, as described above. For example:

  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud, which runs our online store.
  • Adyen, which processes card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments, and Tabby and Tamara, if you choose to pay with them.
  • Odoo, which we use to manage orders, deliveries, returns, customer service and our emails.
  • The couriers who deliver your orders and collect your returns.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you message our customer service team there.
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta, TikTok and Snapchat, which help us understand how the Site is used and show you our adverts, if you allow these cookies (see “Cookies and your choices” below).

You can read how Google uses your Personal Information at policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We do not sell, rent or lease your Personal Information.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Behavioural advertising

Some of the adverts you see are selected and delivered by third parties, such as ad networks, advertising agencies, advertisers and audience segment providers. These third parties may collect information about you and your online activities, on the Site or on other websites, through cookies, web beacons and other technologies, to understand your interests and show you adverts tailored to them. We do not have access to, or control over, the information these third parties may collect, and their information practices are not covered by this Privacy Policy.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may interest you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s educational page at thenai.org.

You can opt out of targeted advertising:

You can also opt out of some of these services through the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal at optout.aboutads.info.

Cookies and your choices

When you first visit the Site, we ask which cookies you allow. There are three kinds:

  • Essential: needed for the Site to work, for example to keep items in your bag, keep you signed in, protect payments and remember your cookie choice. These are always on.
  • Analytics: help us understand how the Site is used, so we can improve it (Google Analytics).
  • Advertising: let us and our partners (Google, Meta, TikTok and Snapchat) measure our adverts and show you adverts that suit your interests, on the Site and elsewhere.

Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you allow them. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. We keep your choice for 12 months, then ask again.

Do not track

Please note that we do not alter the Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy of it;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose;
  • stop sending you marketing (you can also use the “unsubscribe” link in any of our emails);
  • withdraw a consent you have given, such as for cookies.

To ask, email info@juniorcouture.com from the address on your account, or contact us on WhatsApp. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to check your identity first. If we have to keep some information by law (for example, invoices for tax purposes), we will tell you and keep only what is needed.

If you are not happy with our reply, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country, for example the UAE Data Office, the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

We use your information to fulfil our contract with you when you place an order, to meet our legal obligations (such as keeping tax records), for our legitimate business interests described above (such as preventing fraud and improving the Site), and with your consent where the law requires it (such as for analytics and advertising cookies and marketing messages).

Where your information is stored

Junior Couture is based in the United Arab Emirates. Our service providers store and process information in the United Arab Emirates and other countries, including in the European Union and the United States. When your information is transferred outside your country, we rely on the safeguards in our agreements with these providers, such as standard data protection clauses, and on the other protections the law requires.

Card payments

Card numbers are entered on our payment provider’s secure payment form and are not stored by Junior Couture. If you save a card, we keep only the card type, the last four digits and the expiry date, so you can see it in your account.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it:

  • Orders, invoices, payments, deliveries and returns: 7 years after the end of the financial year in which the order was placed, because UAE tax law requires us to keep these records.
  • Your account: while your account is open. If you ask us to close it, we delete your account details, except for order records we must keep by law.
  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe. We keep a note that you unsubscribed so we don’t contact you again.
  • Customer service messages: for as long as needed to resolve your query and any follow-up. Messages about an order are kept with that order.
  • Cookies: your cookie choice is kept for 12 months. Analytics and advertising cookies last for the period set by each provider and are only used if you allow them.

When a period ends, we delete the information or make it anonymous.

Children

We sell children’s clothing, but our customers are adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you give us details about your child, such as their age or size, we use them only to help you shop.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. Changes take effect on the day they are posted on this page.
